Goodreads Feedback Thread on Supposedly Now Returned Reviews

Not sure I really care that much anymore; but, https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1613932-deleted-reviews#comment_form is seeing some staff responses on deleted reviews (those members should have gotten an email today apparently) and some comments on deleted shelves and now permitted again shelf names.

Not sure how clear the shelf name stuff is because gr tries to send you back to the same old supposed "FAQ" thread for info that was absolutely not clear and not seeing a lot of responses.  Sounds to me like they are now saying that the presence of certain books on a shelf will no longer cause it to be deleted (not that they are exactly admitting they did that).  Who knows anymore; I have no trust.

I think STGRB has just been quieter and that goodreads is losing content from top reviewers in the midst of a lot of bugs; too soon to tell about goodreads kindle integrations after holidays.  More publicity has been on the web that actually looked into some of vitriol bba and STGRB had been spewing.

I have yet to have seen an actual shelf (or a cache, screen capture, documentation or even any unretracted statements from a supposedly attacked by shelf name author) about goodreads shelf names that were against TOS or that tgreatened an author.  Just viral rumors.

I'm now "D.A." over on gr and I did butt in to ask since now so "very few shelves" are objectionable if they would consider listing those very few objectionable shelf names (outside of shelf names everyone agrees violate TOS violations by actually threatening someone or hate speech).

And since they now say "Hormel" is allowed (and previously had re-allowed shelf names like "Due to Author")! I asked if we could get a list of previously deleted shelf names that are now allowed again.

I'm not sure why I bothered asking; it must be all the bourbon I drank tonight.  Because, while I'll appreciate the gesture if they do answer, if they go back and forth over what is and is not allowed once — I cannot trust them not to vandalize my book catalog the next time someone changes policy with no notice and wipes out my shelf of books.

Why the hell would I want to organize my book catalog on goodreads thereby helping tag books and place them in genres if all my efforts just get wiped out whenever they feel like it?
