Review of "Velveteen vs. The Junior Super-Patriots" (Velveteen vs., #1) by Seanan McGuire
Ah! Great blend of fun, character to root for, and storyline.
Really enjoyed. Originally much was published as online stories on author's webiste (many are still there for free), but did not read choppy or like short fiction. There are more in the series but no longer in ebook form; I want to pursue the series but it may be a while before I can bring myself to buy the hardcovers.
