#12 in a series where I devour each and every book. Yet, ummm ...
I dunno.
The author's writing sucks me in and I am invested in these characters.
The last few books, however, have really seemed to not progress the story (like random episodes in a tv series, sometimes introducing whole new elements and characters that somehow main storyline doesn't continue with?). Has been building forever up to certain things that readers are seemingly going to keep being teased.
By no means abandoning the series. I expect this one will have me reading it in one sitting as well. But, the days of having this series on automatic pre-order are over. I now wait closer to next one's publication date or a particular mood to read.
