Okay, okay, okay. I get it already.
Broad, extreme strokes hammering in the differences between the Silvers and the Reds and their lifestyles. No complexity, no cruel Reds and no compassionate Silvers—both are clearly outright racist.
Not how I like my worldbuilding, characters or story.
But, this is one of those series you keep hearing about. Fear-of-missing-out means I will slog through this first book (luckily a library borrow) to give it a chance.
Dreading possibly heading into love triangle territory.
Portions feel eel like they would work much better in a graphic novel. I can almost see the panels. *boing* *kapow* random appearance of a Silver who instantly clones a few dozen selves. *crackle* up pops a highlighted Silver princess for everyone to examine *poof* she's gone because here's the next panel with another highlighted ...
